Yorkshire Artspace Year of Making Artist Residency with the High Sheriff of South Yorkshire

News

February 2016—October 2016
With support from Julie MacDonald, the new High Sheriff of South Yorkshire, we want to appoint an artist/maker to work with pupils in the Manor neighbourhood to create a new permanent artwork for the school, celebrating Sheffield as a city of makers.
The artist will be expected to engage and involve pupils at all stages of the work to deepen their understanding of craft processes and making skills and to raise awareness of the role of the High Sheriff in the county.
For more information about this and other opportunities for artists and makers visit our website and sign up for our e-newsletter.
