Tracing Process is a new durational work that will develop over 6 weeks, with the project space being used as a working studio. It will offer visitors of all ages the opportunity to be present in a creative space and witness the action of subtle and repetitive mark making, with an invitation to take part and add their own marks to the final piece.
The project is focused around the investigation of mark making as a visual expression and language, exploring the variation of individual marks within a guided set of instructions.
Tracing Process is the first of six exhibitions at Persistence Works, in Yorkshire Artspace’s ‘Ways of Making’ Programme which is funded by Making Ways. See Yorkshire Artspace website for more details.
