Stars On Starting Out

This October, Sheffield Institute of Arts and Yorkshire Artspace present Stars on Starting Out, a series of talks are aimed at art students, as well as emerging and progressing artists, makers and creative businesses – and generally anyone who’s interested in visual arts, architecture and design.
Each Wednesday, there’ll be a talk from a different high-profile guest from the art world, on their career to date and their tips for starting out in the creative industries.
All talks start at 6pm in Sheffield Hallam University’s Adsetts Centre in the city centre – Lecture Theatre 6620.
They’ll be followed by informal drinks, giving local artists and makers chance to chat. Places are free, but advance booking is advised.
