Robot: Illustration and Creative Arts Convention

The exciting Art and Illustration convention returns to the centre of Sheffield. It will showcase an array of work from a varied selection of artists and illustrators, all of whom will be on hand to chat about what they do and sell examples of their work.

The convention is a single day event to be held on Saturday 25th March 2017 at the Millennium Gallery, it will be open to the public from 10.30 am until 4 pm and will feature a number of Q&A/drawing panels with some of the special guests.

Among the guests include:

Fiona Stephenson: Illustrator and one-time comic book letterer who worked on Judge Dredd for 2000 A.D. She currently produces vintage style Pin up art works. Kristyna Baczynski: a self-published comic maker and illustrator who has worked with the Sage in Gateshead and NME. She was also nominated for an Eisner Award in 2016 for one of her comics.

Chris Skinner: a graphic designer whose clients have included the BBC and Nintendo Mychailo Kazybrid: a comic book illustrator with work published in Marvel and DC Thomson comics Bambos Georgiou: a comic book writer and inker who has worked for a range of British and American publishers.

In addition to the guests there will be a trade hall with over 25 separate exhibitors, each with their own unique brand of Art work. There will be a £4 charge on the door (children under 12 are free).
