Re-Present: A Cause to Celebrate

Past Events

Re-Present celebrates some of our best local artists working in a wide range of styles. Since its launch in 2012, The Long Gallery has hosted ten original shows; introducing a wide range of art to patients, their families and staff at Sheffield Children’s Hospital and loaning work from some of the nation’s best collections.

In our current show we re-present work from artists who have exhibited before and those which Artfelt has commissioned in other areas of the hospital. These artists are joined by new friends, representing some of the best artists working in the region. The show celebrates everything The Long Gallery has achieved and is a big goodbye to the gallery in its current location. Towards the end of the year The Long Gallery will move to a different home near our new main entrance. All work is for sale from the Re-Present section of our shop to raise funds for Artfelt, The Children’s Hospital Charity’s arts programme.

Help us go out with a bang and ensure art can continue to brighten our hospital walls for years to come!
