Loaded with loss and yearning, Parham’s composer portrait Elégie Rachmaninoff: A Heart in Exile follows the Russian composer from his youth through his subsequent self-imposed exile and finally to California, where he died in 1943.

Scripted from Rachmaninoff’s own letters and diaries, critically acclaimed pianist Lucy Parham makes a welcome return to Sheffield, joined by distinguished actor Robert Glenister (Spooks, Hustle).
