Past Events

This workshop is free, we are asking for a £10 deposit which will secure your place and will be refunded when you arrive. Join us for a workshop to improve and hone your fixing and woodworking skills.

We’ll start the day off with a theory session, fixing to walls – where we will talk through the difference between the fixings you use in solid walls and hollow walls and how to detect pipes and cables.

Following a short break, we will then move onto the woodworking session: making a window box. This will involve developing skills in measuring, sawing (by hand or with a jigsaw) cutting decorative shapes, drilling & screwing.

The workshop will run from 10am – 3pm. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
