To celebrate Year of Making, find out more about Sheffield’s metalworking heritage and the role of many institutions responsible for ensuring quality control within the metalworking trade. Many of these institutions have collected and commissioned new pieces of work over time and Emma Paragreen from the Sheffield Assay Office will discuss some examples from their own collection and of contemporary work designed and made in the city today.
