Artist and landscape designer Catherine Dee cultivates a Parliament of Trees at Persistence Works. On show are Dee’s ‘art povera’ stick works and groves constructed with tiny living trees. Dee is a world authority on landscape architectural design and will be in residence during the exhibition, offering free public advice on designing with trees. A Parliament of Trees is part of Making Ways, a new programme supported by Sheffield Culture Consortium through Arts Council England to showcase, celebrate and develop the exceptional contemporary visual art produced in the city.
