Join us as we celebrate National Mills Weekend and Vintage Power! Enjoy family entertainment, traditional crafts and skills and a chance to see our restored working waterwheels and newly displayed heritage buildings following the completion of a £1million Heritage Lottery funded project to revive the Hamlet.

The @HairyEngineers talk about the waterwheel restoration project, Peter Gribbon Grinder, Ridgeway Forge, University of Sheffield Student Iron Smelting, Sheffield Wildlife Trust, Sheffield Lacemakers (Sun), Hallamshire Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers (Sun), Ecclesall Sawmill Green Woodturning, GreenFox Wildcrafts, sculptor Jason Heppenstall spoonbashing and our resident workshops: Martin McAssey Glass, Budgie Galore Jewellery and Forge Four Blacksmith.
Family activities include Living History, Storytelling Tent, colouring and trails and have-a-go heritage crafts and forging for youngsters.
Heeley City Farm will be bringing lambs, sheep, goats, ducks, chickens and rabbits in our small animal enclosure and families can enjoy a magical display of miniature steam engines!
Live music with the Storm Trees and Maltby Sword Dancers (Sun 1pm & 3pm) and Whirlow Hall Farm BBQ.
Our Waterwheels Cafe will be open serving hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, paninis, toasties, snacks and ice cream. We regret there is no parking on site. Disabled parking subject to availability. Blue badge holders may park on the main road adjacent to the entrance.
