Social Arts Library

SOAL is a new collectively built library for Social Practice – a partnership between Axis and the Social Art Network.

SOAL is an interactive digital space that holds a permanent collection of custom content created and commissioned by Axis, an archive collection of projects submitted by artists, an artist/librarian-in-residence programme, and a digital archive of current thinking around the intersection between art and society.

They recently announced 12 ambassadors which includes Sheffield based artist Jennifer Booth, alongside Wendy Charlton, Sarah Dixon, Nathan Frost, Gabriella Gray, Anna Horton Cremin, Emma Long, Karajan Modi, Studio Polpo, Sara Qaed, Carmen Wong and John Wild.
